A reference is relevant only when its design inputs are comparable. Match wet-bulb temperature, flow, inlet and outlet temperatures, footprint, water quality, noise limits and maintenance access instead of comparing RT capacity alone.

• Confirm the inputs: design wet bulb, circulating flow, temperature range, footprint and available height.
• Compare the risks: corrosion, boundary noise, process-water quality, pump head and permissible downtime.
• Request an engineering review before reuse; a previous project result does not replace selection for a new site.
